Meet the visionary behind IDA Foundation, whose dream of social responsibility, awareness, and community action continues to guide the foundation's work.
As a graduate student from Mumbai from Sydenham College, Chirag has traveled to several places of India and abroad and experienced that the people all over the world require to be happy and smiling and he has been keen to work towards the upliftment of his fellow men with the motto of spreading brotherhood and harmony-World Peace.
He started a foundation on 24th August 2011 and named it I Dream About Foundation as he desires to fulfill Dreams of Individuals for a better society. The Foundation has its own ISR Policy.
He started working on social projects after registering his NGO. He attended many national and international seminars and workshops on various social work concepts. One of the eye opening activities that he came across was and which touched his heart when caged birds were set free, a few flew to the sky but many could not as they had forgotten to fly.
According to him, the efforts, time and money invested by people are being wasted due to lack of proper planning and awareness. Hence, he started with the ideology of 'One person one plant', with the determination and promise to make sure that plant is taken care and maintained and is survived. He strongly believes in the universal fact that whatever you give to the world it will come back to you. He propagated the concept of E-Waste Management.
