Overview

Scientific research generates new knowledge and understanding of agricultural systems, including crop production, livestock management, soil health, water management, and pest and disease control. IDAF works in the field of soil and water testing, crop improvement and other scientific researches.

Projects and Activities

Bee keeping Project

All sorts of fruit and vegetables are pollinated by honey bees, such as broccoli, apples and almonds. Bees are the most important part of human life. It is said if bees had not been on earth, there would be no life on Earth.

We initiated a project where we made a box of artificial honey comb in which bees collect honey and then we can extract honey – this is an organic method and also the purest form of honey. Farmers need such boxes to increase the production of their honey business farms and also to improve the quality of their products.

Soil Testing

Under the research area, IDAF takes the soil samples for our working areas of Agriculture and sends them to the laboratory where the samples are analyzed for various properties such as soil density, compressibility, fertility, bearing capacity. The tests help to decide the soil’s ability to support and withstand the water pressure, moisture test, specific gravity test, dry density test are done to help farmers to know more about their land.
