"E-waste" is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life”. E-wastes are considered dangerous, as certain components of some electronic products contain materials/substances that are hazardous, depending on their condition and density. The hazardous substance of these materials pose a threat to human health and environment. Discarded computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, fax machines, electric lamps, cell phones, audio equipment and batteries if not disposed properly then they are merged into soil and groundwater. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled using environmentally sound ways so that they are less harmful to the ecosystem.
The IDA Foundation has tied up with E-waste Management Solutions Company with whom we conduct seminars in the societies, schools and colleges and educate them about effects and consequences of improper management of E-waste. As it is hazardous material to dispose of in the open,Ida... Foundation has established a proper and exact solution of E-waste management.Hence the E-waste is collected from houses, schools, colleges and other institutions which is properly managed and disposed of. Such waste usually is thrown with garbage or dumped which over a period of time does not get composted or recycled. We take care that each and every part of such waste is either recycled or incinerated which helps save land pollution.Following activity
